At Seat With A View, we give travelers a view-centric approach to booking travel — empowering them to share their journeys in a meaningful way. I am the lead Product Designer and one of the co-founders, creating a full mobile and web interface that enhances the travel experience.
Information systems present interesting design challenges. I have worked on complex tasks such as "why does someone choose to vote?", as well as simple concepts. I have a passion for information systems and they are one of my favorite types of design.

While on the Zune mobile team, I worked on designing visual comps for the Zune HD. This process included using wireframes from the IxD Designer and translating the visual language made for a handheld device into a TV screen experience.
I have worked on several websites for both large and small companies. I created the wire framing, design, and coding. I have a strong understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 and can prototype when needing to test an interaction out.

I spent about two years on the Windows Phone Design team during pre and post public release as a UX Designer. There, I worked on the Entertainment and Partner Teams. I spent time taking the metro design language and fitting the zune music player into that experience to make it feel natural. With the Partner Team, I worked with internal and external teams to define their story within the WP7 experience.
I’m a user experience designer with an obsession; especially when it comes to the ways in which a user interacts with a touch interface vs. keyboard/mouse interface. I feel that user experience designers should have a strong understanding of visual design, interaction design, code, and how the end consumer will interact the product or service.
Currently, I’m at Microsoft’s Exchange Design Studio as an Interactive Designer on Outlook Web Access (OWA). Yes, it’s more fun than it sounds — and challenging at the same time. There, I collaborate with researchers, visual designers, and project managers to ensure that everything fits together and feels in-place. In the past, I was at the Windows Phone Design Studio — working on both the zune and marketplace apps — and the Partnership Team. On the Partnership Team, there I worked with second and third party partners to build their WP7 story and application. I also worked at a design studio, where my focus was on a studio rebrand. I also developed concepts and prototypes for both internal and external projects.
One of the many things that differentiates me is my ability to work on both long and short term projects while moving quickly under deadlines — Understanding how to work with ambiguity and changing quickly to fit the scope.
